Commissioned by the Institute of Education, this walking tour drew out stories of activism from the environs of Bloomsbury. A playful, interactive stroll exploring the area, disrupting routes with activities and performances;

participants were invited to hear about the lives and histories of local activists from the past and the methods they used to promote their causes. From women’s suffrage, to slavery abolitionists, to personal privacy, and LGBTQ rights, no aspect of active citizenship was off-limits.
